What a beautiful contemporary desk! I’ve posted about some pretty outstanding and beautiful office chairs recently on Office Freaks (here and here). So I wanted to see what kind of desks I could find that could hold their own with these eye-catching chairs.

We have a standing family tradition in our family on Sundays – my husband can have first crack at every inch of the Sunday paper except for the circulars.  Our oldest daughter and I call dibs on that prime real estate.  We always wrestle over the same circulars, too…. the Target, Kohl’s, and JC Penney circulars.  My husband swears he can hear cash register bells as we turn each page.

If the husband is going to keep listening to these business-y smisnessy podcasts and videos online, he’s going to have to take his show on the road. Doesn’t he know that in the evening I have urgent matters to tend to online and find his seo, social marketing, podcasting mumbo jumbo distracting.

How can I concentrate on Oprah’s tweets with all that in my ear?   Come on, there’s something decidedly un-American about interfering with Lady O.

We shouldn’t be in such a hurry to get every Bush out of the office. In fact, if the Bush in question is furniture and the office is our own (decidedly not oval), we should want Bush in the office forever. And there was a phrase you’ll probably never see again.
