Office art – whether it’s a home office or an “I’d rather be home” office – is more popular than ever. People love to surround themselves with things that make them smile, but that’s just part of it. People also love for their personality to come through the things that are around them. It’s a
Here I Am, World type thing – this is me, quirks and all!
I love art work that has a sense of humor, the kind that refuses to take life too seriously. This bodes well for an office setting or work space, since humor is never more welcomed than it is when covered up with work and staring down to do lists from the inner chambers of hell. Click through the link above to take a closer look at this particular canvas print. It’s a beauty.
While on the website, look around at other posters and prints – there’s a ridiculous sale going on right now and many great posters can be found for pennies. It’s the perfect time to stock up for decorating and even gift-giving.

Check him out. The little Office Freak is headed to the office, coffee in tow. Personally, I’d have put the coffee inside with me and the briefcase on top. If I have to lose something, I’d rather take my chances with the briefcase than my java. This guy pretty much messed up, but who am I to judge..

This gorgeous inspirational poster says, “Courage: Fear is Only as Deep as the Mind Allows.”
Awesome quote. I’m still not jumping off any cliffs. But, awesome quote.
Stunningly Beautiful, Like Japan, Itself

With Japan, and its beautiful and resilient people, on everyone’s mind, I thought it would be appropriate to show a couple of stunning art murals I found. The one above is a “Neon” view of one of the most amazing cities in the world: Tokyo.
The insanity going on in Libya is atrocious for many reasons, but one of the worst things about it is the fact that it’s kind of pushing the needs of Japan off of the front page. Hopefully people won’t forget just how badly Japan needs our help at this time. Be sure to keep them in your hearts and prayers. Godspeed, Japan, Godspeed.

Coastal Drive Stretched Canvas Print

Sigh. Is this or is this not one of the most stunningly beautiful canvas prints you’ve ever seen. Suffice to say I want one for every room of our house. That’s not too extreme is it?
The beauty of this art print is the way it transports you to another place, another time – basically, somewhere besides the pile of things to do that mock you incessantly. You almost feel the crisp air that the couple feels and you lose yourself in their experience. Everything about it is perfect, from the color of her dress to the wheels on the car…. stunning.

Clint Eastwood Wall Mural
I love myself some Clint Eastwood. I have ever since I walked through the living room as a pre-teen and my dad had on a western. After one look at the television, I plopped sideways in my favorite chair and watched every single second. I was hooked on the eyes, the hair, the swagger, the voice the drama… yeah, that’s it, I was hooked on the drama.
So much so that watching westerns with my dad became a favorite thing for me to do. The thing is, daddy thought it was all westerns I that I loved, so he’d call out, “Joi! Grab you a Dr. Pepper and get ready… this is a good one.” To dad, every western was a good one. I never let him in on the secret that westerns with Clint Eastwood in them were the good ones – I simply watched each and every one he ever had on. We had a lot of great Sunday afternoons, with or without Mr. Eastwood.
The dramatic and gorgeous Wall mural above is just the thing to let everyone around you know that…
- You’re in charge.
- They’re being watched.
I’m thinking of getting one for my kitchen.
