I love the message board that hangs near my desk in my home office. I can place reminders on the board to keep me from forgetting important events – you know, like the next time UK plays basketball…. opening day for baseball…. what the next Ace of Cakes will be about – important stuff. I also have a few inspirational quotes, a few Audrey Hepburn collector stamps, an adoption certificate from where I adopted a shark (I’ve told you I’m shark crazy, right?), a picture of my daughters when they were about 4, 6, and7 doing the see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil routine, cat pictures, and a comic strip or two.
I believe in keeping things that make you smile within eye-shot at all times…. especially when you’re working. It keeps you from becoming a grumpity grump.

Hi there,
I’ve only used wood boards and find them equally useful. They’re more real than the electronic organizers. And can be cute or stylish etc. But metal? It must be heavy indeed…

My office would be so disorganized without my handy bulletin boards. They make it easy for notetakers to keep their desk clutter free.
Hello,
Even with all of the electronic boards you can have nowadays, it’s always nice to have an actual, physical board along with the desk. I find it easier to track all of my ongoing activities and events this way.
Thanks for the post,
Carmen

I have a bulletin board and a white board in my study at home, a white board in my bedroom and two whiteboards in my office at work, a large one and a small one.
I am actually thinking of getting me a few more – for the kitchen etc.
I have tried all the fancy computer organizers, but still find that a board where I can see things work best.
