I’ve written reviews for North Star Fine Coffees on my food blog several times. Several several times. It’s outstanding coffee – I believe I even referred to it as the Cadillac of coffees in one of the reviews. Such a drama queen. But, if there’s one thing that can be said about this drama queen, she knows her coffee.
Honestly, I was thinking about it the other day – I can’t think too many brands of coffee I haven’t tried. I’ve covered all of the varieties you can find in stores. I’m a regular at my local Starbucks. I keep expecting them to present me with an apron any day now.
I’ve also had the pleasure of trying many gourmet coffees which can only be purchased online or in specialty shops.
When asked what my top 3 coffees are, North Star Fine Coffees always make the list. You can taste the excellence – heck, when it’s brewing, you can even smell the excellence as it fills several rooms with the Heavenly aroma. It’s a coffee that makes you anxious to jump out of bed. Knowing that it’s waiting for you in the kitchen gives all new meaning to the phrase RISE AND SHINE.

OK, time for true confessions. I’ve never actually drunk a cup of coffee in my entire life. Took a sip once and went all Bartleby the Scrivener “I’d prefer not to.” I do love the way coffee smells, though. So, if someone offers me a cup I just take it and let it sit on my desk so I can enjoy the aroma.
I’d have to say that my brain runs on Jango online radio (or my Hemi-Sync CDs). Got to have the music to get in the zone. That, and chocolate…actually, I do like chocolate covered coffee beans. I guess I am an Office Freak after all.

AUGGGHHH!! I thought I knew you so well, Daisy. While you haven’t lost your status as an Office Freak (the love of chocolate covered coffee beans saved you) – I am amazed that there is a human being over the age of 12 who doesn’t love coffee. I thought my daughter Brittany was the only one. My oldest daughter, Emily, does me proud – she’s as hooked as me. The youngest, Stephany, shows promise at least. She loves the cold drinks at Starbucks and loves Iced Coffee.
