I just did the math on the San Felipe model. If it takes 200+ hours to build, that's less than $3.50 per hour for labor. It may be shipped for free anywhere in the continental U.S. but I'm guessing it's not being hand built here unless some dedicated hobbiests have a lot of time on their hands and are willing to work for peanuts. Of course, if I tried to make one of those by hand it would take me WAY more than 200 hours (and there might be some mild cuss words involved).
