I’ve put on my elf hat and I’ve armed myself with tons of great gift ideas for Christmas shopping around the office, because it’s just around the corner. I’ve gone (browser) window shopping and have found a lot of spectacular gift ideas. Whether you’re shopping for people in your office, or for your all-important customers, this is the perfect time to show them what they mean to you.
Believe me, you’re in great hands – my shopping skills are second to none. Go ahead, ask the husband. (Incidentally, Michael, I’m going to be needing one of each of these gifts. Unless coffee or chocolate are involved, then I’ll require two.)
The Old Time Christmas Candy Tin to the left is from Hickory Farms (Aff.). It’s filled not just with sweet old fashioned candies, it’s filled with sweet memories as well. They can be bought online at the Hickory Farms website, or in malls at their seasonal displays. If you only have a few to order, the mall would probably be fine, but if you have a fairly long list, you might want to go on and place an order now.

Hickory Farms also has tons of other gift possibilities. I was surprised to find that they don’t just have the meat and cheese trays. They have coffee items, chocolate (now you know why I’m giving them so much blog love), hard candies, mints, petits fours, etc. And, unlike a few of the Grinch companies that surface around the Holidays, Hickory Farms is 100% trustworthy and their products are consistently great.
My husband who teases me about my fixation on Holidays will kill me for saying this, but there are only 50 days until Christmas Eve. Girls, I know you’re already aware of this and may even have some ideas lined up. Guys, start thinking about it today. Don’t wait until December 23rd. Again. Although one of the highlights of my Christmas season is watching the male race race around stores on the 23rd and 24th. Darned cute.

Each person is unique, so if you think of what makes them tick, and what they love to do, finding a unique Christmas gift is not as hard as you may think. Many times, it is just a matter of finding something you know they don’t have, and then looking for the unusual. If you know a golfer, but can’t imagine buying them clubs, a unique Christmas gift for that person might be a golf bag in their favorite color that is monogrammed with their initials.
You might also consider their personal interests when looking for a unique Christmas gift. If you know someone who is really into Elvis, look on eBay for a collector’s item that is in your price range. You might find the cook in your family a book from their favorite chef, and see if you can get it autographed for them. This might not be possible, but some people will autograph stuff if you mail it in and provide a post-paid return envelope or box.
