I don’t mind if I do. We’ve been sort of remodeling the kitchen this week. It seems that my kitchen appliances, dishes, and what-nots have overtaken the allotted cabinet and shelf space – necessitating an expansion and reorganization plan.
It seems like something straight out of I Love Lucy but as I walk through the rest of the house, now I’m thinking, “Oh, this needs to be done in this room… such and such would be gorgeous in here…“ That sort of thing. I’m actually even writing things down, with the optimistic intention of crossing things off as they’re accomplished.
Funny, as I’m sitting here kind of straining my eyes, I think I’m going to move floor lamp by my computer desk to the top of the list!
Speaking of floor lamps, I don’t know which room I’d grace with it – but I couldn’t possibly love this Hunter / Kenroy Tundra Floor Fountain any more. It’s beyond gorgeous. The aqua glass, the light, the Glass Stones (which are included, by the way)… it just screams relaxation and elegance.
This beautiful floor fountain is from one of the premiere online lighting store, Lighting By Gregory. When I saw the price, I was pleasantly surprised – I honestly thought it’d be a lot more. That is a gorgeous piece – and you’re right, the price isn’t outrageous. Given the dimensions of this fountain (it’s over a yard high), it would work equally well in an executive office, a reception area, or a boardroom. Putting one of these in a meeting room would certainly give you something more pleasant to listen to than the sound of your coworkers droning on!
