Handsome Golf Cart Pen Set

by Joi on September 2, 2007

I can’t explain it entirely, but I’ve got a real thing for pens. Pencils do diddly squat for me, but pens…wow! Pens with black ink, pens with red ink, pens with blue ink, pens with green ink - I don’t play favorites. Red, yellow, black, and white, they are all precious [...]

Dicsovery Channel’s Summer End Sale

by Joi on August 31, 2007

I’ve used products from the “Discovery Channel Store”
often on this blog…as well as other blogs. I like to blog about and promote products and merchants that are top of the line, and the Discovery Channel at THE top of just about every line ever drawn. Pretty much flawless.
Anyway, the “Discovery [...]

Are you one of the lucky cats within reach of a Caribou Coffee? If so, don’t tell me - I don’t even want to know. I’ve just spent the better part of the morning on their website doing the whole, “Want that, want that, want that..” song and dance. At last count, [...]

Amazing Screensavers and Wallpapers

by Joi on July 26, 2007

If your computer is as pivitol to your life as mine is to mine, you spend a great deal of time with it. It makes you laugh, it makes you scream, it makes you money, it costs you money….. Kind of like a spouse, eh?
Something my computer [...]

Clutter Free Printer Caddy vs Gnomes

by Joi on July 9, 2007

Printer paper is one of those office necessities that night gnomes love to hide from people. You can have at least 100 sheets in the printer, itself, on Tuesday - but, come Wednesday, you run out of paper 3 pages into a printing.
So, bumfuzzled, you start looking around for the package of printer paper. [...]

CompUSA’s Feeling Patriotic

by Joi on July 4, 2007

You gotta love the 4th of July if you’re an American. Not only is it a time to celebrate our country’s history, it’s the perfect time to celebrate all that’s right with the U.S.A. - and there’s A LOT right with it. Its also a time to stop and think about all of [...]

“You’re only as good as the equipment you use.”

If I’ve heard my husband (an avid golfer) say the above statement once, I’ve heard him say it a billion times. In fact, I’ve made similar statements in my “course” of the day - like in the kitchen. I love to cook and know that if you aren’t using quality pans, appliances, and utensils, your work is harder and your results aren’t as pleasing.

We both agree that the truth of the statement is even more vital to work than to play.——–

Phenomenal Mouse Rugs

by Joi on May 15, 2007

Mouse Rug Jaipur MouseRug®

Mouse Pads serve as a great source of amusement to me. I’m not totally sure why, really, but I’m all about the mose pad. The Mouse Pad aisle is always a sure-stop for me when I’m in Staples, Office Depot, or Office Max. My husband and I were looking around Staples last night - okay, truth be told, I was happily browsing around while he zeroed in on what he was after. Some shopper he is.

Anyway, while he played it safe, I constructed my mental list of things I absolutely have to have. After I conquered the binder and notebook section, I wheeled over to the mouse pads. They’d recently added to their inventory, so I my purse and I did our little happy dance. When we do that, cashiers scramble into position.

One of the mouse pads that caught my eye right off the bat was a gorgeous…and I mean really gorgeous….Mouse Rug. The Mouse Rug Jaipur MouseRug®
is pictured above. When I was admiring it and getting all kinds of touchy feely, I knew I’d have to blog about the little beauty. I was afraid, though, that any image I found online wouldn’t be able to compare with just how beautiful these mouse rugs are. Unfortunately I was right.

The colors - particularly the deep blues - just don’t get their just desserts online. They’re much deeper and more vibrant. The one pictured above is even more gorgeous in person. And it looks, feels, and acts like a really expensive rug. The texture, the backing, everything is just like a miniature version of the real thing. Trust me, they’re really something to behold………

Far Out Galileo LED Thermometer

by Joi on May 3, 2007

Maybe it’s the Green Tea Frappuccino talking, but I have to say I absolutely love this far out thermometer. It’s the sweetest desk candy I’ve seen in a while.
The wildly colorful sphere displays the current temperature, you just read the metal tag on the lowest floating ball [...]
