Yes, please, I’ll take two. The St. Louis Cardinals Leather Office Chair
has me wanting to Christmas shop for only one person – me, me, me!
My beloved Cardinals have made it far in the playoffs, and after a year of epic and creative injuries and set backs – that’s nothing short of phenomenal. Even when it looked like their season would end pre-playoffs, I was proud of my guys. They just grinded it out and it’s been one of the funnest baseball seasons I can remember. They play tonight, as a matter of fact, so if you’ll excuse me, I’ll finish this post and begin my pre-game routine of fixing game-time snacks and pacing frantically in circles while talking a mile a minute.
Drives my cat nuts.

When Alexa’s feeling feisty, she likes to swat at my fingers as they dance all over the keyboard, or she’ll try to “catch” the words as they spill out across the screen. It’s probably great that I can’t hear what my editor’s really thinking.
The only problem about my furry little co-worker and her love for being near me as I work is that… well…. she’s not the thinnest of cats. When she sits on the desk, the desk all but fails to exist. Love, love, love this chair! I can so see me sitting in the Arne Jacobsen style Egg Chair in Aniline Leather, Terra Cotta
, coffee in hand, cat in lap, pointing to my husband and saying, “I’ll have Kentucky Fried Chicken for supper, a sundae from Dairy Queen for dessert, but first, do this paperwork for me, send these e-mails, take out the trash, and do the dishes.”
I can also see him raising one eyebrow and saying, “Have you lost your damn mind?” Whatever. Wouldn’t matter. My chair would still be sexier than his. Or anyone else’s for that matter.
Granted, this beauty isn’t interested in sitting at a desk, she’s a bit too hippy for that. She’s more for sitting across the room in a home office or in the corner of a traditional office. Can you say impressive – think of all the backsides you’d impress.
