It’s Sticky Note’s World, We Just Live Here

Check this out! StickyNote
is the most popular virtual notes program in the world. With StickyNote 9.0, you can create beautiful 3D notes on your desktop, send them over the Internet, attach notes to documents or windows and even attach documents to notes.
I know I have a sticky note fetish, and I’m working on it (okay, I’m not really working on it), but this is just too, too clever. I must, I absolutely must have this.
Must.

Flamingos, Cats, Horses, and Penguins !

I’m not sure what I love most about this Flamingo Sticky Note Pad Set
, the fact that I’m addicted to Sticky notes, the fact that they’re pink (pink and purple are my favorite colors), the fact that they’re completely random and unexpected, or the fact that they take my mind back to Florida’s beaches and gorgeous birds.
I guess it’s a combination of all 4!
From the web site:
Great to have on hand for months of notes and reminders, this Flamingo set includes ten 50-sheet pads of self-sticking paper. 3″ x 4″. A Whales & Friends® exclusive!
Whales & Friends also has a Cats Sticky Notes Pad Set of 10, and since the Cat is my favorite animal - it’ll be the set I get first.
There are also horses and penguins for those who are so inclined.

Finally! A Sexy iPod Docking Station
The HoMedics iSoundSpa(tm) Clock Radio with iPod Docking Station is as handsome as it is functional.
I’m really not a fan of a lot of the docking stations - they’re kind of homely. But the one above is from Macy’s and is a modernistic hottie.
From the web site:
Wake up to the tunes you choose or just rock out loud any time you want. Customizable with interchangeable faceplates to match your iPod®, this stylish clock/radio and docking station plays music with amazing sound clarity as it charges your iPod and displays the time on its large digit LCD display. One-year limited warranty. Model SS-6500.
Features:
- AM/FM radio with digital tuning and volume control
- Line-in allows you to attach non-docking iPods, CD players and other MP3 players
- Universal inserts fits all docking iPods
- Dual alarm with snooze feature
- 15, 30, 45 or 60 minute nap feature and auto-off timer
The HoMedics iSoundSpa(tm) Clock Radio with iPod Docking Station - could take the bite out of any (okay just about any) work day.
Funny how much smoother life goes down when taken with music. That, Starbucks, and the occasional big, thick, ridiculously unforgiving and calorie laden Steak burger from Steak and Shake. With fries. Countdown to lunch has officially begun.

The Most Portable DVD Player

The Most Portable DVD Player - that’s what this particular portable dvd player bills itself as. Since it’s actually only one inch thick, I don’t plan to second-guess the claim.
From Shop.com:
This portable, handheld device allows you to watch DVDs and listen to CDs and easily fits into a carry-on bag because it is only 1″ thick. The unit has a 3 1/2″ TFT LCD screen that can redraw images faster than typical LCD monitors, resulting in a sharp, clear, and detailed resolution. Integrated anti-skip circuitry maintains uninterrupted viewing during turbulent flights or bumpy car rides, and it provides multiple viewing angles because it can be adjusted using its integrated stand. Compatible with all CDs and DVDs, this unit has two stereo speaker, and includes a headphone jack for private listening. With a remote control, a lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack that lasts up to three hours on a full charge, AC adapter, DC car adapter, and a carrying case. Connects to a television via included AV cable. 6 1/4″ Diam. x 1″ D. (4 lbs.)
Sounds perfect for students, and I can see just about anyone taking it along for a long day at the office - what better way to make time fly than to have a little fun with it?!?! Beats working.
Speaking of movies…which I guess we kind of were….have you seen the trailer for The Dark Knight? I saw it when we went to see Will Smith’s monster hit, I Am Legend (it has broken all other records for a December opening). The Dark Knight trailer has leaked onto YouTube - and it looks fierce. This thing’s going to be a monster and, unless I miss my guess, it should catapult Heath Ledger into Johnny Depp’s ozone - or at least get him close enough to smell him. I can’t wait for The Depp’s next movie (Sweeney Todd) either. A singing demon butcher barber? I’m all about singing demon butcher barbers.
Grab The Most Portable DVD Player, and you’ll be able to carry Johnny, Will, and Heath with you wherever you go.

Heated Lotion Dispenser

My hands are aching for one of these. Can you imagine how amazing warm lotion would feel on cold, overworked hands? Especially on a blistery, cold day like today - I can really get behind the idea.
The CONAIR Heated Lotion Dispenser is available online for under $15.00. It’d be a perfect gift for absolutely anyone on your list.
I’d want one in the kitchen, for certain. I’d make a bee line to it every time I came back from….from…well, from whatever it is I do. Oh yeah! Every time I came back from running around, wasting money, and supporting Starbucks. I’d also want one in the home office. My fingers sometimes feel the stress of 18 blogs and 18 web sites. A warm, lotion-y rub down amidst all the typing and tweaking would have all ten dancing across the keypad in no time.
From the web site:
Wonderful to give or get: a compact dispenser for bath, kitchen or office warms up to 16 ounces of hand or body lotion (sold separately) in just 2 minutes.
• Variable heat control.
• 1-hour auto shut-off.
• 6′ cord.
• Dishwasher-safe.
Makes a cozy winter massage! 6″ H x 3 1/2″ diam.
“Cozy winter massage” ? Sign me and my hands up for that one. And my knees. And my feet. And my back….
Take a closer look at the CONAIR Heated Lotion Dispenser by clicking the link. While there, also check out the Foot Works Berry Mint Foot Tub
.
I’m pretty much fixated on the extremities today. I, I admit that. Now excuse me while I go stare at my husband’s hands.

Artsy and Deliciously Original Lumen Oil Lamps

Every now and again, I’ll point something out to my husband that I absolutely, positively must have - well, that or just die - and he’ll give me that ridiculous response that’s so typical of male thinking, “What on earth would you do with it?”
Men. You don’t have to do anything with a purchase to enjoy it. You can just enjoy it because it’s yours. You paid for it and no one can take it from you - a sweet victory in and of itself. There’s a great, great deal of satisfaction simply in paying for the thing. A truth that my poor husband has never quite caught onto.
Anyway, these Tree Oil Lamp Shadow Projectors have most definitely caught my purchase-happy eye, but I’m pretty sure he’ll throw the dreaded question my way. Eh, I’ve become so accustomed to it, it really doesn’t even slow me down anymore.
From the Website:
Invented by artist Adam Frank, this modern little oil lamp casts an enchanting shadow from a tiny, stainless steel tree. As the flame flickers, the shadow of the tree moves like a light breeze is rustling its branches. A unique twist on a normal candle. Give one to your favorite hostess or light several at your next dinner party. The shadow’s intensity and size will be affected by additional light in the room - the darker the room, the better the results. Comes with two containers of odorless, clean-burning liquid wax that last 17 hours each. Made in Brooklyn, NY. Available in three styles (from left to right): Nest, Magnolia, and Pine. Sold individually. Set of two refills also available.
The Pine Lumen Candle (Far right in the pic) would be gorgeous for Christmas parties and any of the three would make highly original and gorgeous Christmas gifts. They’d also be perfect for one of the funnest types of gifts - to self/from self, just because. What a gorgeous desk decoration! The gracefulness would help you concentrate longer - and the elegant beauty would create an environment of success. All in all, I think of these lamps more as investments than purchases….. How am I doing?
Question, I’m waitning for you and Tree Oil Lamp Shadow Projectors, I’m coming for you!

Creative Labs Zen V 1GB MP3 Player

The Creative Labs Zen V 1GB MP3 Player (White/Orange) Retail ***Free Shipping*** is as hot as it looks. This is the sort of MP3 Player people sit up and notice. It does the whole “stand out from the crowd” thing like no other MP3 Player I’ve had the pleasure of looking at - well, ever.
I did, in fact, list this under the “Office Productivity” category. Everyone has certain things that make them more productive…things that kind of keep them motoring along. Caffeine and music fuel me - even when I have the cold from hell like I’ve had the past week. Chug a little coffee…listen to Kanye West…chug more coffee…Sing along with Fergie…..Make a Starbucks run with Gets me through the day.
I think a lot of my infatuation with this particular MP3 Player has to do with the ridiculously hot colors. Sexxxxy.

Handsome Golf Cart Pen Set

I can’t explain it entirely, but I’ve got a real thing for pens. Pencils do diddly squat for me, but pens…wow! Pens with black ink, pens with red ink, pens with blue ink, pens with green ink - I don’t play favorites. Red, yellow, black, and white, they are all precious when I write.
I get pretty creative with my pen containers, too. On my desk is a hollowed out coconut with a face. He holds about 20 pens. In the kitchen, near the phone is a clear Starbucks cup filled with coffee beans - a variety of lucky-albeit-it-highly-caffeinated pens call this home. In the den’s a mug from Wichita Kansas with around 30 pens. There are others throughout the house….you know, it’s just beginning to occur to me how deep my pen fetish runs.
I’ve found just the holder for my husband’s desk. I’m looking over there now and it’s a complete and total shame - his pens are just lying around with the riff raff (a.k.a. pencils). Sadly, they’re homeless. But that’s just about to come to an end. I’m moving his pens into my coconut penthouse, and I’ll even take in the riff raff. I’ll replace them all with the Golf Cart Pen Set from The Paragon.
From the Website:
Cleverly disguised as a miniature golf bag, this unique office accessory is a desk-bound golfer’s delight. The clubs are ballpoint pens, one each of black, blue, and red ink. And the classy plastic bag and metal cart have wonderful details like zippered pockets and movable wheels. Pens use standard refills. 8 1/2″ overall. A fun gift!
This would be a perfect gift for any golf lover. The website also has a cute Golfer’s Desktop Zen Garden. Click the link and give them both a look. While you’re there, take a look around - The Paragon has some totally amazing and original lovelies. There’s a cast iron bunny plant stand (yes, a cast iron bunny plant stand) that I’m not sure I can live much longer without.
