This gorgeous stapler is Swingline’s Collector’s Edition based on Milton’s Red Stapler seen in the movie “Office Space”. This Rio Red Stapler
combines the quality of the Swingline 747 Series with advanced ergonomic features. It’s a great looking stapler from a very respected brand – and, at $12.99 – the price is more than right… it’s ridiculous.
This little beauty can be found at Buy Online Now – an Office Supply Superstore. Everything I’ve read about Buy Online Now is flawless. Customers rave about their customer service, quality merchandise, and speedy shipping. Sounds like a combination that’s hard to beat.
Personally, I’m all about bright, enthusiastic, cheerful colors – but if you prefer more subdued colors in your office, you can find Swingline staplers in a variety of colors at Buy Online Now. Click through the link above (or below) and check them out.
Features:
Superior styling provides maximum stapler comfort.
Staples 2-20 sheets.
Stapler includes contoured cap and padded rubber base for comfortable, convenient, hand-held stapling.

Kindle: Amazon’s 6″ Wireless Reading Device (Latest Generation)
Everyone’s talking about the Kindle for good reason – the dude’s cool. It’s about as slim as a typical magazine and about as light as a short Dean Koontz novel. You can download your favorite books in under a minute with no wires, no hunting for Wi-Fi hotspots, no monthly fees, and no annoying “plans.” I hate “plans” – it seems like they never have ME in mind.
The new Kindle now has 16 shades of gray for clear text and even crisper images.
Other Features:
- Long battery life
- Holds over 1,500 books
- With the new text-to-speech feature, Kindle can read every newspaper, magazine, blog, and book out loud to you! Unless the book’s rights holder goes all party pooper and makes the feature unavailable
- Free book samples
- Newspapers and magazines available as well as books
- The Kindle store has over 300,000 books – biographies, thrillers, classics…
Amazon’s incredibly ambitious – they want to have every book ever printed, in any language, all available in under 60 seconds on Kindle. They’ve gone on record as saying that they won’t stop until that happens. I totally believe them.

. It’s currently under $300, so I’d take complete advantage of it and grab at least one. It’d make an ideal Back to School gift for a college or high school student or for the mom who’ll find herself in a suddenly quiet house when September rolls around.
I was introduced to a new web site this evening and I couldn’t wait to tell you about it. The name is See Jane Work and the merch is as clever as the name. I’m sure you couldn’t tell by the name, but the site is geared toward women in the workplace.
You’re going to absolutely love everything See Jane Work has, including the sassy attitude.
The ShemergencySurvival Kit (above) is not only clever, it’s downright practical. If I were to throw in my Starbucks card and a chocolate bar, I’d be set for anything life threw at me, even Mondays.
From the Web Site:
This compact case is stocked with 24 items including; a folding hair brush with mirror, hair spray, clear elastics, earring backs, hand lotion, nail clipper, an emery board, clear nail polish, nail polish remover, a mending kit, a safety pin, double-sided tape, lint remover, shoe shine wipes, stain remover, static remover, breath freshener, lip balm, dental floss, pain reliever, deodorant wipes, a tampon, adhesive bandages, and facial tissues.
Brilliant. This includes all the things we’re always caught without! (Have you ever had to use a tiny bit of eraser to substitute for a lost earring back? Works well. Looks stupid.)
Check out See Jane Work asap. Be sure to grab some of the notebooks and journals before I snatch them all up. What can I say, it’s a bit of an obsession.

That means you can get up-to-date news, the latest scores and weather information whenevery your heart desires. You can also access your e-mail, twitter, blogs, and so on when you WANT to – not just when you HAVE to.
Netbooks may look like laptops, but they don’t have the full capabilities of a computer. Instead, a netbook specializes in mobility and the Web, so it’s great for travel or as a supplement to your main PC.

I’ve found a new website that I’m absolutely addicted to – Useful Things.com. They have gifts, gadgets, gizmos, and goodies that you literally just won’t find anywhere else. Best of all, everything is on the very, very cheap.
The first thing I ever got from Useful Things was the Posy Desktop Photo/Memo Holder you see pictured above. When I saw its price ($12.95), I kind of thought, “Uh oh, this is going to be a hot little mess,” but I was delighted to see that it’s not only very well made, it’s a knock out!
It’s perfect for showcasing pictures of loved ones, whether they’re sweethearts, kids, pets, or yourself. Whoever motivates you, inspires you, and makes you smile. My favorite use for mine is this: I like to put my most important To Do tasks on an index card – ones that are more like Gotta Dos than To Dos – and then I stick the index card into one of the slots.
No excuses then! It’s right there staring at me along with my cats’ smiling faces. This process has honestly helped a great deal, because you know how To Do lists are – they get misplaced, stuff gets piled up on them, you forget if this was yesterday’s list or last week’s (hey, it happens).
Find more Office Gifts at Useful Things.com. While on the site, check out the other “shops,” like the ones for the kitchen and the home. You’ll find them under the Shop Menu tab at the top. You’re going to love these, I guarantee it.
Speaking of love, three words: See Star Trek. Three more: Best Movie Ever.

I’ve been meaning to post about this for two forevers, but between an internet connection that has forgotten how to function and a to do list that has forgotten that I’m human, I’ve been spending a great deal of time drinking coffee and mumbling under my breath.
It gets me through the day.
Ironically, I could have used some Bucky Balls these past few weeks – something to keep my hands busy while my mumbling mouth is hooked up to my coffee pot. If shiny things make you smile, too, you’re going to love this.
Bucky Balls are magnetic toy balls that you can manipulate and busy yourself with. You could, I dunno, build cryptic little messages of doom and e-mail the pictures to your internet provider…. assuming you could stay connected long enough to do so!
I haven’t actually tested these balls out, but they look to be a ton of fun. Head over to their website and see what you think: Bucky Balls!

There are few things I love more than having lovely new gadgets and gizmos to play with. I think I enjoy them now even more than I did when I was knee high to the Cat in the Hat.
The beauties you see before you are my new toys! These are the amazing Endo Magnet Clips and I’ve been amusing myself finding the different things they’ll hold in place.
An ipod? Check.
A calendar on the fridge because I don’t want another nail hole in the wall? Check.
A little notebook with my ever important online passwords hidden inside? Cake.
The Endo Magnet Clip is, obviously, great looking and can hold up to 1 pound. These magnets are very, very strong and have held up to every challenge I’ve thrown their way. They’re available in the six colors you see here and are sold in sets of three for $9.
Go to Endo for more ideas and to order a set for yourself.

I think my husband would all kinds of freak out for this guy. Check him out!
The Holmes HL1261H Robot Desk Lamp
is an interactive lamp with and adjustable head, body arms and legs so you can change him around from day to day. If you’re having a “Me against the World!” day, he can carry his head high, put his hands on his hips (?) and beckon the world to bring it on.
If you’re having one of those days where you want to hide under your desk, he can hang his head and coyly put his arms behind his back. Or you could scoot him close to the edge and let him peer under the desk, looking for you.
He’s the perfect way to bring more fun and laughs into your office – everyone will want one of their own so badly, you may have to arm yours to protect him from abduction. His little hands can actually clutch things, so he could hold a little sword, I guess.
Other Features:
- Clip On Hands for Holding Pens, Notes, Swords
- In Line On Off Switch
- Chrome Satin Finish with Black Joints & Cord
- Rated for 20 Watt High Intensity Bulb (included)
- Product Dimensions: 12 x 5.6 x 9.1 inches
- Shipping Weight: 6 pounds
About Holmes Lighting:
Holmes Lighting offers the most innovative features, the highest technology and a fantastic selection of lamps for every room. Holmes offers the exclusive MASTERGLOW technology. All MASTERGLOW lamps have a built in photo sensor that evaluates the amount of light in the room and turns the lamp on or off accordingly. This easy to use feature adds Safety and Security to any room while allowing you to cut down on energy costs.
Of course, even with these killer features, it wouldn’t mean jack if their lamps weren’t so amazingly unique and gorgeous – but, fortunately, they’re that and more.
