Many companies – online and off – are in full Back to School savings mode. Any office freak worth their weight in paper clips knows that means one thing: It’s Christmas in July! Office Desk Relief for the Lower Back and Feet

I can’t even tell you how attractive the Foot Machine above looks to my feet, legs, knees, and lower back.

Suffice to say they’re all gathering for a chorus of ooooooohs and ahhhhhhhhhhs. My arms have no idea what’s going on – they just wish they were in on the good time.

If you sit at your desk anywhere near as much as I do mine, you know what I mean when I say that the back, legs, and feet can often get stiff and achy. My biggest problem is my lower back and I’m pretty sure I have a car wreck (years ago) to at least partly thank for that.

Whether I’m working online or watching television, I’ve noticed that my lower back is much more comfortable if my feet are at least a little elevated – I guess it takes some of the pressure off of my back.

My solution, when at my desk, is to sit on my legs or sit with them folded up. Bad habit. One that only worsens the circulation and causes more stiffness.

One of my uncles collects model ships. It was a hobby he began when he was a teenager – even before he joined the Navy. The Navy became his life’s mission and he kept reenlisting until they accepted the fact that they’d have him and his model ships around for three or four forevers.
