During a recent move to a larger server, we lost a few week’s worth of updates.  Amongst the casualties was a lamp post (snicker snicker) I’d done right about here.

I remember what gave me the idea for the post - I was annoyed with the desk lamp we have in our home office.  I went to turn it on and, lo and dimly behold, it was already on. 

I began my search at that very moment for better, bolder desk lamps.  The kind that look professional and nice but can light up your work area like the 4th of July. The great looking lamp, above, is the “Orbit Lamp.” Appropriately enough, it’s from TheLightShop.com.

The list price for this ridiculously handsome lamp is $102.00, but The Light Shop has it for only $61. In fact, they have an unbelievable selection of all sorts of lamps with savings that’d bring a smile to even the tightest of tight wads.

The Solara Red table Lamp (below) is also valued at $102 but sold at $61. It’s also a handsome devil.

This is just the desk my oldest daughter, Emily, needs for her room - one that gives her plenty of work space without interfering with all the clothes, shoes, purses, make-up, etc. You know, the really important stuff.
