Success Poster

I absolutely love the motivational/inspirational posters and art prints that feature a word along with a thought or quote. They’re always very well-written and the photography is breathtaking.
But I have to hand it to the people who came up with these spoofs - they’re pretty funny. (The caption at [...]

The great looking lamp, above, is the “Orbit Lamp.” Appropriately enough, it’s from TheLightShop.com.
The list price for this ridiculously handsome lamp is $102.00, but The Light Shop has it for only $61. In fact, they have an unbelievable selection of all sorts of lamps with savings that’d bring a smile to even the [...]

I know I have a sticky note fetish, and I’m working on [...]

This is just the desk my oldest daughter, Emily, needs for her room - one that gives her plenty of work space without interfering with all the clothes, shoes, purses, make-up, etc. You know, the really important stuff.
In fact, I’d love a Corner Office Computer Desk
for the kitchen as well. It takes [...]

The HoMedics iSoundSpa(tm) Clock Radio with iPod Docking Station is as handsome as it is functional.
I’m really not a fan of a lot of the docking stations - they’re kind of homely. But the one above is from Macy’s and is a modernistic hottie.
From the web site:
Wake up to the tunes you [...]

While it looks like something Dr. Smith, Robot, and Will would try to investigate, it’s actually a Wall Projection Clock from the Discovery Channel Store.
From the Web Site:
Celebrate the intangible nature of time with this projection clock, which creates a large clock image on any wall surface.
Projects a bright and elegant clock [...]

Every now and again, I’ll point something out to my husband that I absolutely, positively must have - well, that or just die - and he’ll give me that ridiculous response that’s so typical of male thinking, “What on earth would you do with it?”
Men. You don’t have to do anything with [...]

I can’t explain it entirely, but I’ve got a real thing for pens. Pencils do diddly squat for me, but pens…wow! Pens with black ink, pens with red ink, pens with blue ink, pens with green ink - I don’t play favorites. Red, yellow, black, and white, they are all precious [...]

The jury’s still a little out on this one. While I applaud it’s nerve and even respect its attitude - I’m not entirely sure how this "e;Monster"e; Computer Desk
would look in my computer room.
It’s not the desk’s fault, I just don’t decorate in this futuristic style. I can see it [...]
