Love, love, love this chair! I can so see me sitting in the Arne Jacobsen style Egg Chair in Aniline Leather, Terra Cotta, coffee in hand, cat in lap, pointing to my husband and saying, “I’ll have Kentucky Fried Chicken for supper, a sundae from Dairy Queen for dessert, but first, do this paperwork for me, send these e-mails, take out the trash, and do the dishes.”

I can also see him raising one eyebrow and saying, “Have you lost your damn mind?” Whatever. Wouldn’t matter. My chair would still be sexier than his. Or anyone else’s for that matter.

Granted, this beauty isn’t interested in sitting at a desk, she’s a bit too hippy for that. She’s more for sitting across the room in a home office or in the corner of a traditional office.  Can you say impressive – think of all the backsides you’d impress.

With Japan, and its beautiful and resilient people, on everyone’s mind, I thought it would be appropriate to show a couple of stunning art murals I found. The one above is a “Neon” view of one of the most amazing cities in the world: Tokyo.

The insanity going on in Libya is atrocious for many reasons, but one of the worst things about it is the fact that it’s kind of pushing the needs of Japan off of the front page. Hopefully people won’t forget just how badly Japan needs our help at this time. Be sure to keep them in your hearts and prayers. Godspeed, Japan, Godspeed.

You know those occasional products, recipes, gadgets, or Starbucks drinks that you wish you’d thought of? Things so perfect that you’d love to take credit for them?

I met perfection yet again this week and would ever so love to take credit for its invention. I’m not trying to break any of the 10 Commandments, so I’ll confess, I didn’t design or invent this ingenious desk lamp.

The Fish Aquarium for the Cool Office or Home: Most Unusual!

I’ve been cruising the web, “window” shopping if you will, like I”m being paid to do so this morning. I have no idea how I even landed on the site or saw the amazing Fish Hotel pictured above but I thought it was just unusual and spectacular enough to share with my fellow Office Freaks.
