The gorgeous Imagination Poster above says, “Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground.” Great advice. Great poster!
I love having quotes, words, and pictures near my workspace to inspire and motivate me. Some days need it more than others, right? Given the popularity of motivational and inspirational posters for the office, apparently I’m not alone.
One of my favorite motivational sayings (actually it’s just one word) is written on an index card and hangs on a cork board above my desk. The word is GAMBARU. It’s Japanese for “Never ever give up, even and especially when there’s no chance of winning.” You can read more about it in an article on my Self Help website.
I was up against something a few days ago and I must have glanced at the word (which I wrote in bright different colors) about 100 times. Once, I found myself just staring at it. I guess I expected a magical Japanese Genie to pop off of the card and lend a hand.
Sadly that never happened. Would have made for an excellent story. But I did win the epic battle I was facing at that moment. Gambaru!

Charles Chaplin World Funny Man Poster Framed Art Print
I always like the unexpected, and this art print is definitely unexpected… and fun. Fun’s always a welcome guest in any office. Charlie Chaplin would make an excellent office companion – he doesn’t pop his gum, won’t steal your candy, and won’t snitch on you if you leave a few minutes early.
Dimensions:
- Print Size is 36 x 18 in.
- Image Size 34.5 x 16.5 in.
- Frame Size 44.25 x 26.25in.
Vintage Hollywood designs are always in style and give a room personality as well as an air of class. Click through the link for more art prints, but I’m not sure you’ll do any better than Charlie. He’s the bee’s knees.

At the risk of getting personal, when you get right down to it – we’re all pretty much amused by ourselves. The sight of ourselves on a personalized gift such as the Personalized Mouse Pad featuring your own Golf Magazine Cover
above falls under the category “hoot.” If you’re finishing up your Christmas shopping (or you haven’t even begun…what?!?!) and you’re wanting something extremely unique and personal – I have the website for you. These people are nuts and I like it.
You provide a photograph of the individual (or their pet) – then you decide if you want to present them with a poster of the personalized magazine, a framed picture, a t-shirt, or a mousepad – such as this one.
From the Website:
YourCover started in 2000 with the belief that everyone deserves to star on his or her very own magazine cover. Initially, YourCover had its employees creating each issue individually, using photos and information provided by customers. This process of making fake magazine covers was highly labor intensive – and the price point reflected the considerable labor cost.
In order to lower the price of our personalized magazine covers, we renovated our site to enable users to create their own fake magazine covers online. The revised YourCover site debuted in June 2006; now, with our fully automated and interactive site, you may log in to YourCover.com and create a magazine cover – by simply uploading your own photos and adding text (using our templates and text suggestions).
YourCover professionally prints our full-color fake magazine covers on heavy glossy paper and places them in deluxe frames for shipping. Personalized magazine covers are unique gift ideas and make memorable party favors or distinctive table centerpieces. Make your own magazine cover at FREE Shipping on all orders!
. It’s a clever way to celebrate and commemorate an important person, occasion or milestone. And it’s a unique keepsake that’s sure to be remembered and enjoyed long after the event has passed.

The Son of Man, 1964 Framed Art Print
Magritte, Rene
Buy at AllPosters.com
In a comment, Daisy pointed out how the Funky Wooden Cabinet (3 posts down) reminded her of the painting, The Son of Man, 1964. It totally does!
These would be out of this world grouped together. Sure, you might creep some people out of their wits… but that’s a chance you’re willing to take.
Click through the image above for other options with this great print. It’s available framed, unframed, as a stretched canvas, and simply as an art print.
