The American flag business card you featured above brought this to mind: I've been reading up on Feng Shui in design lately and came across the concept that red and blue aren't good colors to use together. The idea is that the red (fire element) and blue (water element) don't mix well and create a feeling of conflict. Makes me wonder how one would go about advertising a patriotic business if you can't do the whole red, white, and blue theme!

Lol! The affiliate programs I'm associated with are extremely compliant with the FTC. This is one of 18 blogs/websites in our web publishing business and we march verrrrrry carefully to the music played by the FTC. After all, this is what I do for a living and I don't want them coming down on me any more than I want my house falling on me! :)

Besides, the FTC is looking out for consumers who have been taken advantage of by unscrupulous individuals online to the tune of large amounts of money. I'm certain they have bigger fish to fry than me and business cards.

No, not the link police. Just a regular reader who was surprised and impressed that you don't seem to fear the FTC ;-)

And thanks for stopping by my site - I can use all the visits I can get. And you're 2 out of 3 in your last graph - chocolate addiction is my wife's department.

Yes. Just out of curiosity, are you the affiliate link police? Cause if you are, I have an alibi.

Just kidding - I visited your site and discovered a couple of cool things.

1. You were in the military - meaning I have nothing but complete respect for you. My husband was in the Air Force and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about any men and women who have served their country.

2. You're from Kentucky - I was born in Madisonville Kentucky and we've lived in Owensboro Kentucky for years. Best state on the planet - with the friendliest people and the most beautiful wildlife and scenery.

3. You have greyhounds - LOVE greyhounds! They are so classically gorgeous and elegant.

I kept expecting you to mention loving coffee, being obsessed with UK basketball, and harboring a happy little addiction to chocolate. Oh well, you're totally cool in all the other areas. :)
