Bring Your Mobile Office Inside With eNook

As some of you may know, I’m a laptop man…I do almost all of my online work on an old Apple iBook, and even though we have a fast new iMac with a 20″ screen in our home office, I still prefer to work from the comfort of our sofa, with the laptop sitting squarely in my lap, and a steaming cup of green tea (Genmaicha) on the coffee table.

Of course, one of the frustrating things about this set-up is the inevitable “where do I put my laptop when I’m not using it” conundrum. Seriously, my iBook has already had water spilt on and into it, and my dogs have left innumerable hairs in the keyboard, slobber marks on the screen, and more than a few paw marks on the outer lid. Not to mention the problem with external devices, power supplies, software CDs, etc.

Well, it looks like that’s all a thing of the past for yours truly, because I plan on buying this gorgeous new piece of furniture from Anthro, called the eNook. Honestly, if I can’t convince my wife to buy me one for Christmas I’m going to by one for myself when my birthday comes around. I mean, talk about a perfect solution…and check out that groovy fabric on the back – it acts as a bulletin board. Sweet!
