I am officially in the market for a laptop computer desk. I want one with wheels, so it can keep up with me as I motor from one room to the next.
When I’m not at my PC, my laptop and I like to make the rounds. We’ll set up our workstation at the kitchen table in the morning, because big windows, in the front of the room, allow for an excellent morning view of birds. I feed them first thing, then watch them jockey for position as they campaign for the largest seeds (the male cardinal is the most tenacious eater since the male human). I wouldn’t get in either’s way.
However, in the evening, I’d love for my laptop to join me for my favorite television shows – The Biggest Loser, Fringe, LOST (Finally back tomorrow night – yesss!). You know how it is.
I really like the Adjustable Ergonomic Laptop Computer Cart Desk, pictured at the top of the post. It’s available on Overstock.com for under $80 (although this is a special price that doesn’t intend to stick around).

Have you seen the laptop desks ultimatebackstore.com? I really wanted this one because it was ergonomic and probably the best price I’ve seen for ergonomic accessories.
Jack, no I haven’t seen it yet – I’ll check it out, though!
The only thing I don’t like about that stand is that it’s not height adjustable, otherwise it’s a good, sturdy stand. I’ve used it before.
Great cart! Perfect for the employee that works from home, or the mobile busy bee. The PERFECT ergonomic accessory. Thanks for sharing.
Dan, I’m glad to hear that it’s sturdy. That was my main question. I’m somewhat of a clutz – that paired with the fact that my cat is liable to jump on just about anything made sturdiness my main concern! Thanks for the info.
Alec, Thanks!
I really think they’re ideal.
When I was in college, we have sort of a caddy for computers in our laboratory. It is a make shift table with wheels on it to be able to move to different laboratory rooms. And the computers were very useful for support application for the different modules in the laboratory. However, hours of using it would give you a stiff neck or sore back.Based on this experience, I see the practicality of the Adjustable Ergonomic Laptop Computer Cart Desk and its applications on different educational institutions.
Great point! As someone who often finds herself with a stiff neck at the end of the day, I’m all for anything that’ll keep that from happening!
Blog topic of office freaks is useful and beautiful.
I always set up my workstation at the kitchen table while I’m preparing for dinner or cooking, allowing me to do extra misc work or watch some TV series on my laptop. PERFECT ergonomic accessory for mobile use. Thanks for sharing.
