The Aeron Lumbar-Friendly Desk Chair

by Joi on April 23, 2006

Aeron Lumbar Chair My back and I have been wildly researching desk chairs. A name that keeps coming up is the Aeron Desk Chair. Apparently it gives support where you need it the most. Kind of like a Wonder Bra.

Or not.

The Aeron chair, by Herman Miller, is said to be the best ergonomic chair you can buy. I’ve read lots of raving reviews about the chair - but, the price is kind of high, at $899, so I’m searching for more reviews and more raves. After all, $899 could finance around 225 trips to Starbucks. That’s how I budget money - by the cup. (Husband, speaketh not.)

FEATURES:

  • Pellicle fabric suspension distributes weight evenly over the seat and back.
  • Chair conforms to the sitter and minimizes back pressure.
  • Open fabric breathes with the body.
  • Kinemat tilt allows natural and effortless movement.
  • Posture support.

If you’d like to read up on the chair that has caught my back’s attention, if not my purse’s, you can do so by clicking through on one of the following links:

Don’t you just love the new Starbucks in OWB? Hell, I don’t even live there, and I’ve already been there three times!

Loves it muchly.

The ‘boro has another great coffee shop, too - Beyond the Brim. The best Chai Tea EVER, and a Chai Shake that defies description. Then, of course there’s a Joe Muggs in the bookstore. It’s a goal of mine to hit them all in one day.

When we lived in the Metro Louisville area, my favorite coffee spot was a really wild little place on Bardstown. Can’t remember the name, but I remember the Lattes!
